As you may have noticed, McDonald's are giving Queensland customers free copies of the Courier Mail in store at the moment, however I also noticed they are also giving free access to the Courier Mail paid iPad app via the new McDonald's/Courier Mail app for the next month. Great alternative for fellow Queenslanders using the SMH app with a Sydney news focus. No code, purchase or registration necessary.
Dont be suprised if you see this in <12 months though. Rumors going around of an online ordering portal soon.
some Asian countries been doing delivery(KFC/Macca) for ages!!
Even Bali has home delivery Burger King/ Hungry Jacks.
There was a KFC delivery trial in Canberra around 15 years ago. Not sure how well it went.
But I can say the KFC all-you-can-eat restaurant concept (which they trialled around the same time) was the most horrible dining experience I have ever had.
Why would anyone want to read this horrible paper even if it were free?
