bookfari is $42 for each compendium with free shipping
If you buy the volumes in this it works out about the same, actually.
It's $5 per volume of 6(ish) issues. Issues 1-96 cost $80 when bought in the volumes.
Yeah awesome prices (ordered them myself) but these tombs are bloody heavy and while they're ok sitting at a desk reading, they're too heavy and impractical for almost anything else.
I'm trying to go digital as much as I can these days. Much lighter and easier.
These must be very long epitaphs if you take them with you to read! Or are they ancient tombs that need translating from a dead language?
I travel a lot and like to read comics. So yes when travelling taking along a book which weights several kilos is impractical. I've bought a lot of the Marvel Omnibus editions which are also 1000+ pages and are difficult to read other than on a desk. Even on your lap they're bulky and difficult to manage while reading.
The look fantastic on the bookshelf though.
Mind you they aren't as bad as the Absolute editions that DC do. They're so physically long you certainly struggle to read them on a plane.
Awesome series!
Better than the tv series. The tv series wont go places the book will.
The tv series is only sexy
Cheap but it's cheaper to get the Compendium v2 from BookDepository.com for AUD44.39 with free delivery (issues 49 to 96 I believe) which is less than $0.99 per issue, for an actual comic as well.
