  I think he mentioned android specifically because most earphone + mic configurations only work with apple products. Walking into jb or dicksmith, you'll be hard pressed to find a pair on earphones that lists anything but ipod/iphone/ipad as compatible.

I had these headphones the ones without mic. Terrible quality, really uncomfortable in your ears and bass is very muddled sounding. Better off with some meelecronics or brainwavz beta headphones with mic

Well, does anyone really expect decent sound out of a $25 set of headphones, especially IEMs?

Also, passive headphones can't be "high power".
