Yeah. Hard to pay this much when its been $200 before.
Enjoyed the phone for 6 month then sold it for $350 and upgraded to S20plus for $150 on fb marketplace (for the camera). Now im on a s23U for the camera only.
this is the way
Don't mind sprigging do ya !
Why buy this when you are buy G84? 50% more RAM, 100% more Storage (256GB) and better, Better 10Bit Screen + Android 14 (very possible for G84)
nano sim card option
G84 has 2 Nano SIMs
really?? not esims?
@ilove: G84 has 2 Nano Physical SIMs for G84 (G54 has 1 Nano and 1 eSIM).
But I guess G84 camera hasn't improve much?
The only possible reason I can think of, aside from dual sim, is G84 looks to not currently be bootloader unlockable (and Motorola might never allow it), whereas the G82 may allow it? (I haven't checked).
Yeah not much of a deal, I wonder when will the G 84 will go on sale.
How does this phone compare to Pixel 5?
I got G84 direct from Lenovo's website for $10 more than this deal (*using chat rep to knock 10% off the list price).
"But but what about discounted gift cards?"
I see your JB Hi-Fi Gift cards and raise you $191 worth of Lenovo store rewards points I got for buying a Lenovo Legion 5 Slim 14 inch a month back.
In the end I paid $168 out-of-pocket for the G84 and I'm blown away by it for that price.
Same CPU as this G82 phone - but double the RAM at 12GB, and double the storage too - 256GB.
2 Physical Sim Cards - 1 of the Sim card slots pulling double duty as the SD card slot.
pOLED screen is gorgeous at a locked 120hz. I'm not kidding. It looks better to me than my iPhone 13 Pro Max - seriously. No shade meant to the OP by my downvote. I appreciate them for posting this deal and opening up the chance to have a discussion.
I just think that buyers would be better off going with the G84 from Lenovo directly and negotiating 10% off in the chat rather than getting this deal from JB Hi-Fi.
But I'm sure there are circumstances where this JB deal makes better sense. Thanks again for posting the deal OP.Here’s a side by side comparison: https://nanoreview.net/en/phone-compare/motorola-moto-g84-vs…
G84 is a no brainer for $50 more.
Can easily get G84 at around this price. G82 should be on clearance stock by now. Could still consider G82 for $200.
$200 OR GTFO lol
