I had KFC for the first time in about 6 months and it seems the large chips box is slightly thinner than it used to be but the same height (i.e. shrinkflation)
Am I imagining things? Hoping one of the many KFC connoisseurs on OzBargain would know.

The seasoning is good, but can't remember the last time I had KFC chips that weren't soggy :/

IMO … my local KFC always == cold/soggy/limp chips.+++ REG chips - they now only 2/3 fill the box (unsure about large size) … this has been standard at my local, as of 6 months ago.
Haven't experienced this in person yet but I have seen other people online like on Whirlpool mention it. So its not just you.
I noticed the same thing a few months ago when I had a large chips for the first time in a while too. Someone also posted on reddit comparison photos of their newest popcorn chicken boxes, again the box is slightly smaller.
I think people should also post photos of the size of their bellies to judge whether or not it's really a bad thing.

I dont know whether the box is smaller, but I do know that my chipbox is always only ever about 3/4 full!
100% agree … as per my comment above (to another poster) …
My local KFC (in terms of Regular size chips) == only 2/3 full - sometimes even less than that.
Easily been happening for last 6 months.Think it may have even been mentioned in Whirlpool KFC subforum … a long time ago too.
Makes a big difference whenn only 1/2 are cooked.
Haha yeah they are hilariously small now. They used to be much much bigger.

Regardless of it's size it's still the best tasting chip you can get, KFC yumm
