Elgato Streaming Ring Light $164.98 (50% off) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ EB Games

80

First time posting a deal so hopefully I get it right. With the holidays and extra free time for many right around the corner, thought this may interest some.

I’ve done some research on the Key Light vs the Ring Light and imo the later gets the nod. Just.

Haven’t seen it this cheap and so went ahead and ordered one for delivery in a couple days.

Keep in mind delivery is $6.95 or $10.95 however many stores seem to have stock.

extra $10 off on their eBay store here https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/295777408304

    free C&C is available = $155.

cheapest shipping is an extra $2 though, so only really $8 off = $164 shipped.

haven't checked the other elgato stuff but their might be more. nah I changed my search terms from "elgato light" to "elgato" and it only shows the ringlight.

  • What is the main difference with those cheap one from Kmart?

    • Or this little 16cm for $3.90😄
Mine arrived to collect in store today.
      My new career awaits😉

      Quality of mount
      Ability to control wirelessly
Level of control over brightness and colour
      Quality of diffusion
      Durability in general
Likelihood of being bothered to do a warranty claim if/when it stops working

Those things won't be important to everyone, but they will be to some.

      • one thing you forgot was Elgato uses OSRAM LED's in their lights.

in LED circles OSRAM LED's are known as a big step up in terms of longevity. they last way way longer than other manufactured LED's but you always pay a premium for them.

I recently bought a torch off Amazon that uses an OSRAM LED. so it can properly handle the high temperature's in max mode and I use it in half mode most of the time so confident it will last in the long run.

  • Do these even have a high CRI rating?

  • And I got my cheap 16cm fill light from AliExpress for $2.08

  • I thought $60 for these things was a lot. I did buy two for work though
