  • What are the differences between this and the pro version, apart from pro having cushioned seat instead of a mesh? I thought a (good) mesh would be more of a pro feature.

    • There's a comparison table on uri linked

In my experience a mesh seat is horribly uncomfortable after a short time. If you intend to sit for a while you need cushioning. I wouldn't buy a mesh seat if you intend to WFH.

      Source: had an Aeron chair

      • Yes - extremely uncomfortable if you are not as "well padded" yourself.

        What's uncomfortable about it?

Having rather a skinny butt, I recall being quite comfortable on a mesh Aeron or Aeron-like chair.

I found the Aeron is fine for 30 minutes at a time, any more than that and I had to get up and walk around and get the blood moving again - mesh seats restrict blood flow a lot.

    • Hi there,

In comparison to the normal Pro, the Pro+ comes with an adjustable seat depth, a mesh material as opposed to fabric, adjustable back height and adjustable headrest height.

  • Can this be locked in a reclined position? If so is it fixed or user adjustable locking position.

    Warranty?

    • Hi there,

The Desky Adjustable High Back Mesh Chair does have a 135 degree tilt with a lockable angle mechanism.

The product also comes with a 10 year warranty.

  • 10 years across all chairs, if I have read correctly.

I need a new chair bad, but the thought of me sitting on it for the first time and it not being the right fit is too scary of a thought.

I even checked to see where their stores were, I'm definitely not in range for a pop in.

  • nice chair.. would probably buy but just bought one.. awell nextime.. I like that it is also for tall people.. im 6ft3 tall and this would do better than the one I bought which said it was for tall people but really wasnt.

    • Hi there,

The chair is great for people over 6ft and is designed for taller customers!

This is a generic "made in china" chair which you can get cheaper from other Australian stores with the superior cushioned seat rather than some mesh (hint - unless it's a HM, stay away from mesh seats). I like the desks from Desky, but their chairs are just rebrandable junk. Save the money and get a proper chair.
