Why do people bother with using the glitch? Isn't it more easier just making up random numbers till it registers? That's What I did and been using it for over a year with no problems, or just go to a store and look for Optus starter pack and copy that number. Optus does not send any confirmation to that number, it works right say once u eneteR your email,pw and number.

The glitch used to be that you could put source=Optus on the end of the URL.
I suspect that a lot of people don't realise that the Optus rewards website does not even that you own the number that you are using to register - no confirmation required.

In other words, no confirmation or validating, once applied with Optus number, even disconnected, will work.
Its not hard to find a friend that has an Optus number. Just reg them instead.
Can you provide statistics on the numbers of people who use the glitch as opposed to those who don't?
