It's the all-time historical low as of now but you do have a point, UCS sets usually reach a maximum discount of 33% off RRP before being retired but when/if that'll occur for The Razor Crest is anyone's guess.
In this economy? I'd expect it to go on discount more
Historically there's been almost no examples of UCS sets being discounted by more than ~33% off RRP in Australia. Flagship Technic sets can be more aggressively priced sometimes but UCS sets aren't due to the licensing/royalties that account for a huge chunk of the markup of UCS sets.
Whys that?
From what I can tell, Tallneck 76989 is a great Lego set.
It was hard to find in stock when first released last year. From what I can find, the lowest historical price was $92 in July this year but with this set due to be discontinued after this year, prices are set to rise so this might be your last chance to get it at a discount price.
@ju2au: Wouldnt star wars lego be better to try make money off rather then tallneck ? Larger audience.
@Gurbachen: Its not scalping. People have plenty of time to buy these. And lego eventually stop making them so lego will go up when you cant buy it from shop (supply and demand). Its not guarantee it goes up but risk. Its probably the thing that made lego so great. Everything is limited time release.
The ps5 think was scalping. Stock sold out quick buy and sell within the same week.
Lego you need to sit on it for a few years.
@Jklaro: I brought a set because I am fan of the games and want to display the finished build on the shelf. Making money off it never occurred to me.
This thing might be practical in the SW universe but damn it's ugly.

Generally a good price to buy Lego is @ 10c / piece. It’s close, but this should be around $618ish
Got the one from Mould King for $190, 5k pieces, that's gonna keep me busy over the break.
24% on a set this isn't expensive isn't the best imo
