When Googling a friend, or more like an enemy really, I saw that they had won the home lottery. Or a $30 gift card to a camper store anyway, their name and prize was listed among thousands of other winners.
Setting this as a 'poll' is literally pointless.
If you're lucky, the subset of Australians who are both OzBargain users and lottery winners would be one or two at most. Anyone who clicks "I won" is almost certainly doing it for the lols.

An OzBargainer knowing someone who has won a lottery is as likely as being offered counterfeit notes by all three people who wanted to buy something you are selling.

Australia has pretty strict regulations around lotteries IIRC. You can't just "spin one up" and be done with it. There are special computers and programs to do the draws etc.
Not to say things don't get screwy and people manipulate it, but that's life.
Personally I don't partake in these. Especially that infamous one, LMCT or whatever it is. That guy is way too rich for such a short period of time doing essentially the same thing. I keep waiting for the "other shoe" to drop.
