Bargain diving torch. Bought one to test and I was surprised at how good it is. It even comes with 3 spare o-rings. It has 2 x P50 LED. One is cool white and the other is warm white. The warm white is very nice. It is slightly warmer than my 2700K light. Simple operation with a very pronounced magnetic switch. One click for warm white, click again for cool white, third click turns off. Can be powered by 3 x AAA, 26650, 21700, 18650 battery. Comes with AAA adapter and 18650 adapter.

I have tested it in the swimming pool. Beam pattern is more of a flood then throw. While there is a hotspot it isn't well defined. Not sure what the reach is, but it illuminated the pool from end to end. Planning on taking it prawning. I don't need 100m reach while prawning, just need wide beam that can illuminate few meters.

Edit:
With my uncalibrated eyes I can say that thr torch does not output 2600lm of light. Closer to 1200lm. I left the torch on for 30 minutes and temperature didn't go over 41.8 degrees Celsius with ambient temperature 24 degrees Celsius. The output diminished in a linear manner. Definitely no buck or boost driver inside.

    pretty bad reviews

No focal point so light is lost. Rubbish for diving

Great for playing in the pool and exploring shallow waters and rock pools.

lol, i'm not swimming at night. i think most people enjoy the pool in the summer sun.

Hehe. I intend to use it for prawning and maybe try to dangle it underwater to attract fish.

Not a chance this is a dive torch.

IP68 can only do 1.5m for 30 mins….. You could have a shower with it….

    • I wouldn't go diving with it myself. I am sure people can come up with fun use cases for $8.49 waterproof torch with triple o-rings.

    • Used it in shallow water for couple of hours. No problems.

I'm getting one just to test to see how a magnetic switch is different or better. Seems like a decent tortch for under a tenner.

I will most likely misplace or lose the spare O rings before needing them though lol.
