That's is alot of dropped eggs, spilt milk or kids vomit to wipe up…

    • Kids. If you have those these will prob last 3-6 months.

    • +2

Get a few and you can make a bed base!

    • What's the worst thing you've had to wipe off with paper towel?

      • +4

        Kids shit

      • Dog vomit.

      • Fresh roadkill splat

  • +4

It's $4 a pack of 4 at coles right now, so it's really just $1.20 saving. For non-prime subscribers, works out to be worse off. Is ok if you are doing the subscription price.

    • It seems popular so I posted it. For whatever reason I'm not that keen on purchasing something like this from Amazon. I usually get our paper towels from Costco.

      • @ozbs25 What paper towels do you get from Costco? How much are they/roll?

        • +1

Whatever is on special. I try to compare prices when I'm in store.

My wife really likes the Kirkland stuff but it's super expensive now. We still buy it but use it sparingly. (happy wife, happy life). Depending on usage, she chooses between the good stuff and the "cheap" stuff.

          • @ozbs25: Is that the kirkland paper towel with lots of tear lines? It is very expensive but people seem yo love it. What is the upside of this product? Thanks

            • @voteoften: You can use half sheets which is really nice. She reckons it's just better quality. She says you just need less to do the same job and it doesn't tear like some of the other brands.

          • @ozbs25: Agreed re the prices (on seemingly most things) been creeping up at Costco. Getting close to the point where sadly, for me, the membership cost will no longer be worth the savings. We've been big fans of the Kirkland toilet paper, but gave it a miss when shopping there today - $32.99 for a 48 roll pack, when can (and did) get 45 roll pack of Quilton 3-ply from Amazon for $24.

            • @fluffycat: She much prefers the Kirkland toilet paper too. Again happy wife happy life.

              • @ozbs25: @ozbs25 the kirkland paper towels and toilet paper is actually a big rip off now ever since they increased prices. It's just no longer as better value as others when they are on sale.

@squaredonut: I get that it's more expensive. It the long run it's just easier to keep her happy especially if it's with cheap stuff like this. I count myself lucky she's generally not interested in stuff that is actually expensive.

so it's really just $1.20 saving

S&S is $20.52 so it's really a $3.48 saving (that's 7/8ths of a roll for free) for Prime subscribers who get their order in before it goes on backorder.

      • S&S is $20.52 so it's really a $3.48 saving (that's 7/8ths of a roll for free)

Its actually 4 rolls for free.

        $20.52÷24=$0.855
        $3.48÷.855=4.07

        • My bad. Meant to say (that's 7/8ths of a roll 4-pack for free)

When you are saving $3.48 compared to rolls that cost $1 each that would simply mean you are getting 3.48 rolls for free.

    • S&S almost down to my old benchmark price of 75c a roll, hopefully downward trend continues.

Viva ones are better. Thicker and better texture I find.

I actually love the Qilton Absorba 4 ply. One of the inner plys can be peeled away and used for things that don't need much…like folding it into 4 and putting a frozen donut to microwave. I got a 24 pack of these July last year and I still have 4 full rolls left

    • I wouldn't say they're thicker, but the texture is heaps better!

  • +1

The half-size towels are way better, we find it to be perfect for most uses.

Works for me. Thanks OP. I have a bunch of Amazon gift cards bought at 10% off so I want to use them up.

Whats with the quantity options? 4 count for 22.80 or 160 count for $29.85
Can't make heads or tails out of it

Looks like a 3rd party. I generally don't trust 3rd parties on Amazon. This one doesn't have great feedback/ratings over the last 12 months.

      • @ozbs25 Just curious how do u tell if it’s a third party seller? It says on this listing: sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon

        • We're talking about a different listing. The 160 count item is shipped and sold by AMA Corporation.

    • 4 count = 4 rolls per pack. X 6 packs = 24 rolls total. 24 rolls x 60 sheets per roll = 1440 sheets = $0.014 (1.4c) per sheet = $1.425 per 100 sheets.

160 count = bonkers third party!

It would appear the 160 count is 6 x 2 packs - so 12 rolls. So a bad deal.

On other listings the count appears to represent other stuff (including sheets per roll), so I presume it's just a number they can add. Either it's a mistake, or the listing is trying to make people think it is better than other options - probably ones that say 120 count for sheets.

Such a bulk buy for what is only a hair cheaper than the $5.29 Aldi double-length packs.

    • +1

We do our best not to buy things like this and have it shipped across the country. A little annoyed that Amazon has been shipping all my BF purchases basically 1 item to 1 box.

  • Don't forget the 5% discount coupon!

    • What's the coupon? I don't see one on my page.

      • Mine just has the checkbox and 5% extra is applied at checkout for $19.38

    • its slightly cheaper via amazon. there is a 5% extra and yes, there is stock still so this OOS thing is not valid

    • Delivered?

  • Back in stock

  • There's still stock btw.

  • Waiting for the day Quilton will put Tuffy back on a 1/2 price promotion. Think I'll be waiting for a long while yet.

  • +2

    Why tho?
Woolies is $1.9 for a 2 pack which works out to be identically priced without having to lose half the panty.

These work way better than tissues IYKYK

    • Too coarse.

    • What brand lotion do you use?

  • I got the 160 count pack of 12 for $29.95, is that one better value then the cheaper one ? I just went off the price per 100 sheets

    • +1

Did you buy from AMA Corporation? I didn't go into the maths but someone else did above. They reckon it's a bad deal. I'd stay away just because it's a 3rd party.

  • Is SS expired?

    • Seems that way.

  • From the listing it looks like you get 4 rolls for $22.80 (4 Count (Pack of 1)). It also says that in the product description when you scroll down. So $5.70 per roll. Am I wrong?

Or are you getting 24 rolls for $22.80 as listed in the tiny writing at the top of the page?

    • Also would like to know
