I concur. I use them every day at work and the quality is fantastic. Long battery life, decent sound and very confortable.
They look good. Do they have physical buttons or touch? Looking for some without touch controls because I always bump them when out and about.
I have them. They are touch, no physical buttons.
Check out Edifier W240TN, which also have ANC.
I have the Nothing Ear 2s from this deal, thought I'd try some premium upgrades at a discount, they sound great for calls and isolation, but as they don't have the Aptx protocol they're rather lack lustre for music even compared to much cheaper ones.
I still have SoundLiberty 97s from this deal and they sound so much better with the Aptx for music, even compared to apples pods which I've tried too, I was quite surprised. Although I had some connection issues initially i.e one ear pod wouldn't autostart, they're fine now.
Basically If they don't have Aptx I think you're missing out.
I've worn these for about 1 year now (mainly while sleeping) Heres what I can give:
Features
press the touch once to initiate the ability to send commands through touch (Useful when sleeping on them/not wanting them to start pausing randomly)
Hear-through mode. No noise cancelling, but passively they give a pretty good seal straight up.
Usb C charging.
Low latency mode (I honestly can only see a minuscule difference with this on or off, if you're gaming you may want to keep on, or not to keep your battery life.)
Pros:
* Easy to use, Not complex
* Decent battery life ~6 or so hours (+~13 with charging case) would always be flat in the morning, needing a charge each morning.
* I can't speak on the audio quality too much, they seem not as bass-y as airpods and more neutral, but good ear seal with the included eartips.
Cons:
* Their shape can be a tad uncomfortable, would not recommend to anybody planning to sleep with theses in on a hard pillow/lay down on any surface.
* The eartips don't offer much comfort, having gone to $50 Rip-off Airpods and finding them much better in most ways (including battery life, cant find a link, but if you're in nz they're in most gas stations/servos!)
* since controls are side dependent, using only one bud at a time can prove annoying when you can only pause, skip, playback when you want to change the volume etc etc.Tldr: For $50, they're not bad by any means. If you want to grab a pair of them, go for it. Otherwise I'm sure more deals will arise! especially now that many still good buds are getting cheaper and cheaper.
ok dumb question, can this be used to make voice calls?
yep! and it can hang up/answer (I've never done it, but supposedly it can)
Just picked some up.
Thanks OP.
Testing them now. I'll let ya know what I think in a bit. :)Flat. Good bass separation. Nice highs. Voices and mids very good. Comfortable so far. Paired like a breeze. Get pretty loud. Very nice with D&B.
Verdict: no brainer at this price !Mine doesn't turn off when returned to the case. Help!
You have to really make sure the pins are all contacting. Taking it out for 3-5 seconds then placing them back in should help
I've done that dozens of times.
Finally fixed itself idk how, just randomly started working one day
Great audio quality on these, unfortunately they do slide out a bit easier than my soundpeats but audio quality is slightly betterTouch controls are fairly annoying and unintuitive though, overall worth $50 because they look and feel really nice and sound great
ok dumb question, can this be used to make voice calls?
Yes. Friends report that they sound fine on a call.
I just bought these today to replace my Soundpeats Sonic's. Very happy with the sound difference. I mostly listen to metal, and while the bass isn't as huge as I usually like, they don't sound muddy and there's decent separation even during double kick drums. Chaoseum tracks though weren't comfortable to listen to, quite tinny and sharp highs. They're louder than the Sonic's, which even on full volume I could hear people talking near me. With these, I have it down a couple of notches. Theyre basic as, no app, no specific EQ. But for $50 Im happy with the sound they put out.
ATH-SQ1TW or JLab Go Air Pop True Wireless In-Ear Headphones?
Price seems to be similar. Any comparison from the users?
These are very good quality
