[PC, Epic] Cyberpunk 2077 & Phantom Liberty Bundle (after 33% Voucher) $56.27 @ Epic Games

530

Yes, it requires the individually unique coupon. [PC, Epic] 33% off Purchases over $22.99 @ Epic Games
Yes, it is not on Steam platform, instead it is with Epic, where some of you say you'd "pay to avoid"
Yes, there is an Ultimate Edition releasing within a week, but you don't know how much it'll cost
Yes, there is also a 10% Epic rewards credited for future purchase($5.62), where you might call a "gimmick" or "useless"

But at this price point of $56.27, it beats all historical lows on the base game + new DLC, according to this, this, and this

Unless the Ultimate Edition on Steam/GOG is going to be less than $60, which I don't think it will be that cheap, this $56.27 Epic deal is not too bad I guess?
More than happy to hear your thoughts.

Heavily considering it but I have a carnal beast in me that only wants cyberbunk on my steam profile hours track so high achievements up bigtime

Is this what brand loyalty looks like? I hope not.

I really want a cyberbunk for my bedroom…

Just wanted the Phantom Liberty, and my Cyberpunk 2077 is on GOG so I can't just buy the DLC on Epic…

    • I own the base game on Epic and can't buy the DLC with the discount anyway, the coupon excludes DLC purchases.

Screw 'em, I'll wait for the ultimate edition on GOG or steam to go on sale and start again from scratch.

Do the VPN trick for GOG (use Ukraine and pay by PayPal), I just got the DLC for $22 as I already had the base game on GOG

      • Nice idea thanks. Do you use the website + VPN or purchase through the GOG APP + VPN?

        • I used website and VPN

  • +1

A bit cheaper on GOG if you VPN to ukraine

    • How much is it for just the DLC?

      • half of whatever the US price is

      • It’s $14.99 US so about $22.67AU.

        • Cool cheers. In no rush, might as well wait for it to drop further.

    • Thanks for the info, was just wondering -

      1. Do GOG ban your account by purchasing in a different region like what Steam does?
      2. Do you have to pay in USD instead of AUD when VPN'ing to Ukraine?
      • I bought the base game through VPN when it first came out, and then I bought the DLC just recently from another region. I paid USD via PayPal, which converted to $22 AUD

        • out of interest, what does the DLC look like in Gog - does it appear in your 'Owned games' as a standalone item on the shelf? or is it just part of the overarching 'Cyberpunk' game?

          • +1

@waybasil: Nah it doesn't appear as standalone on the GOG shelf, part of the overarching Cyberpunk 2077 game

I used a bootleg version of the DLC with my GOG account and it authorized it as being legitimate and nothing came from it. I don't think GOG cares too much but results may vary.

        • +2

Considering GOGs whole thing is everything on there being DRM free it's not really a bootleg since they didn't have to crack anything, it's just the GOG downloaded file re-uploaded by someone.

Contrary to what you might have read when this came out, this game plus Phantom liberty on a decent PC is absolutely amazing IMHO.

    • +2

      Yep they fixed nearly everything

The game on a good PC when it came out after a few patches was good too. Now it's just even better. I played it at 1440p 100fps max settings no ray tracing and it looked amazing and I'm sure it'll still look better than most games that come out in the next 2 years.

It had some severe bugs for the first couple of months but after that, I agree. I am lucky enough to be able to play in 4k, most things on high, with HDR on, it's just glorious. Phantom Liberty adds a huge amount of good stuff to the core game as well as new content.

  • Great deal, but after purchasing the Steam Deck, would prefer all my games on steam.

Big regret purchasing so many games on other platforms like GOG let alone Epic Games

    • Gog is amazing especially if you purchase and share with the family.

  • I'll buy on steam instead of dealing with Epic
