I scheduled my tyre replacement appointment for next Friday but paid using afterpay. Anyway I can change it so I can pay in stores on the day using this offer?

  • +2

You sure it can be stacked? I had to pay at the time of my booking, and I suspect the same likely applied to everyone. Maybe that was just for online orders though

    • going to try ask to refund & repay in store on the day

      • +2

Usually that means refund the old invoice price and repay the in store price today.

I got this on 3 cards last time so saved $300 off $1300 tyres (which don't really go on sale). Was great!

  • Is mycar going out of business or something, whats with all the deals and partnerships

    • +2

They’ve gotta make money somehow, other than ripping people off

  • OMG, is it possible to cancel afterpay payment and change to this for BF deal?

  • It says excludes online purchase. I paid using amex cc on black friday for 2 tyres. Can i cancel that payment and pay again in store at my tyre appointment using same amex card? Not sure if mycar will go for that hassle and honour another promotion of $100 because some portion of this $100 will be bear as an extra cost to them (on top of black fri promotion?

I paid for my tyres online on Black Friday. Gave the 13 number a call but they weren't able to refund and re-process the payment and transferred me to the store. Store said they can't do it either. Probably intentionally staggered the deals this time to minimise the losses.

  • Anyone know if mycar sells gift card at all?

The stars aligned for me, I’ve scheduled my $433 of tyres for 31 Jan, guy told me it didn’t have to pay, I was concerned I wouldn’t get the 50% price but he insisted I could wait to pay, Thankyou

      FYI
T&C states in-person only at Mycar Tyre & Auto by 22/12/2023

op better come back and read this because he's about to get floored

      • +1

Yeah, so I walk in and pay for my tyres now..

    • your star alignment might be a few degrees off as spc12go has mentioned.

i hope they will honour the bf price for you

      • I had him send me a payment link and he showed me the booking price, this was my main concern, but will pay this week

        • +1

So I’ve paid for my tyres to use the Amex deal, only caveat was that I had to take the tyres with me, I have a receipt for the booking fitting and alignment at a later date.

Star alignment all good from my end!

  • Should buy some tyres even I dont need them…..

  • Thanks OP, car tyres were due for replacement and I've been holding off for a while now

  • Hope my tyres will arrive before 22/12/2023 so I can take up this offer and have another $100 off. I pre-ordered instore on Black Friday and didn't pay anything.

  • +4

BF purchase came to $777 (asked to pay instore at fitting this week and was ok), will add some wiper blades in which I need anyway and split between 2 cards, this has made my day :)

  • Is the BF deal over?

  • I wonder if I can pay my quote ahead of the appointment to get this deal.

  • Any buy 3 get 1 free deal from these mobs?

    • Price match Bridgestone

  • Are continental tyres any good?

    • its relative…

      define your "good"

to me, good means can withstand 80k kms travel before becoming non-roadworthy.

with my definition, it tick my "good" definition.

please note i do routine tyre rotation every 10k, 36-37 psi all rounder and i drive a 'light' car (1999 honda hrv)

i had cinturato p6 in 2020 and bought powergy last friday.

edit: i confused myself between pirelli and continental :D

never had continental before but they own mycar

  • damn, I've already paid online on BF…..

Today when I brought the car to the Mycar store, I asked the manager if I could cancel the BF payment and pay with another card in two transactions. He understood the reason behind and agreed to do so after the work is done. At the pickup I needed to use the original card for the cancellation that might take 3 days to complete. Now for the AMEX, the total is over $800 so I split into two AMEX cards that had the deal saved. Happy Day!

  • Tried to price match bob jane dunlop fm800 at mycar buy 3 get 1 free. Got a quote from mycar, now when I try to book it in they say there is no stock and can't order it in then tried to sell me other tyres… hmm

  • Great deal

  • My car service cost $383 and just missing $17 to receive the cash back. Anyways to spend that little in store?? Thanks
P.s: service done already. So, it will be another trip to spend little money

  • Credit should appear on your billing statement within 15 business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date.

In other words they're telling us to wait 90 days before lodging a claim if it didn't work?

  • I got the offer but I need only two tires to replace, anyone want to buy two more with me. Happy to share the profit Perth only.

  • Did anyone receive statement credit? Generally it credits in approx 5 business days and it didn’t for me even after 2 weeks?
