Olga are you there?

just got phone call from dodo sales team this morning, the lady initially looking for olga, after i told her i don't know olga then she try to sell her products, after 5 minutes giving her training how to do proper telesales. then she hang up the phone

10 minutes later, i got another call from clubtelco, same story the guy looking for olga, giving him another 5 minutes proper sales technique. then he hang up the call.

question, anyone else in here so far got wrong call from those company looking for olga?

    I think the next part of the practical joke is when "Olga" calls you and asks if there are any messages for her. :)

    Poor salespeople; they are the real victims here. I'd hate to call someone up and have some asshole tell me how to do my job.

      okay, so you think i am an asshole? I told those guys, i told them i only spend $5-10 for unlimited call, and they still ask me to purchase his/her $20 plan. is it wrong if i asked them to listen carefully what the customer told them and analyse if appropriate you continue the phone call.

        Yeah; I mean its likely that 'olga' signed up to something and either put in a fake number or got her number wrong. If its unsolicited ask questions like "how did you get this number?" and "what database are you getting this information from" also ask them to remove your number. I just don't see the point in wasting two peoples time (both your own and theirs).

          my number is on do not list call. i have query to them, how do u get my number and what ip address was recorded on the email enquiry ,and both of them can't answer my question, even the supervisor also can't answer what ip address recorded

        just wondering if they really do have call monitoring over there like the call centre in here. it is the third time i gave feedback to telesales person. sorry mate, not being proud of it, but they really have lack listening and understanding what the customer need.

        last time, when i spoke with optus telesales, I asked her to repeat the point that I mentioned to her. It is like ielts test, if you don't have comprehension what other people saying to you, how can you communicate effectively with your customer, right?
