Where to buy a good quality aftermarket laptop battery

Hi,
I have a HP laptop that needs a new battery. I bought one off ebay for about $40 lasted about 3 months. My previous HP original one lasted 3 years. However another original is $199. Can anyone advise a seller who sells good quality aftermarket laptop batteries?
Thanks

I bought a HP battery from eBay last year some time. The seller was apacnotebooks, and the service was quite good, fast shipping, etc. I'm not sure about others, but I know my local CentreCom sends faulty laptops to them (Apac) for repair. As for the battery itself, it seemed pretty decent, though I can't say I use the machine terribly much any more.
Otherwise, I haven't much experience with buying laptop batteries - thankfully.
There's the store link, if you're interested: http://myworld.ebay.com.au/apacnotebooks/&_trksid=p3984.m143…

you can find genuine guaranteed stock from ebay etc every so often

but saying that, how much is a guarantee from china worth?

  • Dr Lappy (eBay & store in Burwood NSW) sell selected aftermarket HP batteries for $59 (+ postage), and selected Genuine HP batteries from $69 (+ postage)…
