I'm looking at booking a 4-star Hotel in Singapore in February 2024 not necessarily centrally located.
Cleanliness, room size, service, and quality of furnishings are my main concerns.
Also, would you book through a travel agent or the Internet?
Which of those sites you would find best for booking accommodation, Agoda, Expedia, Booking, etc?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Always book direct if you want to have the hassle free experience.
Thanks
Does the hotel need to be "guest friendly"..?
You can get cashbacks from CR if you book via booking.com
Good to know
it might be worth booking direct or looking on their social media for any deals. I usually find agoda cheapest for asia in general, but for some of the ones I was interested in you could only book direct. There's hotels combined and any others, it's usually worth doing a bit of a comparison between the sites.
Thanks
The Intercontinental at Bugis Junction was really good.
Close to some good food spots and MRT.Good to know
andaz hotel singapore - Stayed here in Oct, Was an excellent hotel. A bit procy but its singapore everywhere is pricy lol. Lovely rooms, clean tidy, excellent pool on the 12 floor and roof top bar and resturant
Look at the Far East Hotels, they are mostly solid 4 star. Book direct, join their club and and save 12% or something
Paradox Clarke Quay is well located and not too bad in price terms - a little quiet right near the hotel but Chinatown and Clarke Quay restaurants are within 10 minutes, with pretty good room sizes. Holiday Inn Little India is good; One Farrer Place is slightly odd (it doubles as respite care for the hospital it sits above, so a lot of the corridors are hospital lino) but the rooms are excellent (and the location) and its really good value.
Thanks
Andaz or Intercontinental. Both relatively pricey, but have good experience with both.
Booked through bookings.com with cash back. Saved a couple of hundred bucks.
Both look good, thanks
