Purchasing a Market Trolley - Any Recommendations?

Seeking a market trolley to assist with market purchases, but also to regularly haul ~15kg (cat litter) from parcel locker/post office.

Any recommendations or thoughts on market trolleys you've tried/tested/liked/hated?

This isn't a bad idea to be honest.

I go to flemington markets and they charge like $6 to use a trolley. Do that 10 times and you've made your money back roughly.

worth reading the negative reviews though. Looks like the weld point is a weak spot and it breaks. If OP is carrying tens of kilos of cat litter, that'll happen faster.

Are you referring to your comment?

I was asking a question about the product they are asking about.

Preemptive congratulations on the 200k comments, JV

Saying it now because hopefully I won't be here when it happens

How else do you think jv gets to be at the top of the most (useless) posts each month……

Its time this place has a hide feature for useless users like this.

  • If you're considering a beach cart/trolley, I really like this one: https://www.kathmandu.com.au/retreat-trolley.html

Knock yourself out, there are lots out there in a wide range of price points.

    • Which one do you recommend?

Who cares what I like, it will depend on the OP budget for starters. If the one I like is $300 and they only want to spend $80, then it doesn't matter does it.

  • This format/style or the 4 wheel type linked on other comments>

If these, then find the correct term on the website and look around online. Op /second hand shops probs have good second hand ones if you time it right

Why not get your cat litter delivered to your door.

    • Exercise?

      • Fark that!

    • If you can get the "pre-shat" variety it can even go straight to the bin. Much more efficient.

  • Could try one of these. Good for about 3 tonnes…

Coles and Woolies sell them for a gold coin, cheaper than you will find anywhere else!

    • If you shop the Coles and Woolies in western Sydney, they're free for the taking. ;)

  • Adding to the list with this Kmart Black Friday special for $89

There is only one that will do the job properly and I’ve used it to haul 30kg every week full of shopping for the last 2 years - Rolser 4 wheel model. It’s more expensive than most but it’s very good, reliable and you can get spare parts. Made in Spain and worth the investment. Anything less and they’re disposable.

  • We've been happy with the X-Cart. https://www.amazon.com.au/XCART-X-Cart-Aluminium-Folding-Tro…
It's on sale at $169 many times.

  • The handle in this one is too short. If you are a over 1.70m you'll have to hunch to pull it. It gets annoying quite quickly.
