Hey all
I was serving a customer at work and he was using what looked like a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It was a Vietnamese guy who spoke almost no English whatsoever (helped him out using Google Translate). I asked him (via Google Translate) if I could have a look at his phone, he said yes. So I looked at it and it really looked like the Note 2. It was as big as a Note 1. What I noticed about it was it didn't have any Samsung branding on it anywhere. The only branding I could find was a small logo saying "HKPhone" on the back. It was shaped similar to a S3/Note 2, but not exactly like either one but closer to the Note 2 (size and shape).
I did a quick Google search on Google images and normal Google, and I can't find many pictures of it. All the web search results are in Vietnamese. Vietnamese Samsung ripoff?? Anyone know anything about it? I'm just very curious about it.
edit: Just found this. Vietnamese telco? I wonder if it was just a Note 1 that I mistook for a Note 2…
