I've bought quite a few over the years, but always had to buy online (ebay and footballfanatic.com). There are slowly more places in Melbourne selling jerseys, but they are always so far overpriced. I notice that footlocker have started stocking some unusual teams (warriors for example) but the price just isn't competitive with online.
Another thought is the DFOs. A couple of years ago I went to the one in Moorabbin and found some old-style Denver shorts in a "retro-clothing" type of shop. They were selling them for $30. I dont think the shop is there anymore, but if you can find one of those types of shops you might be in luck.
