This deal is flying under the radar among all the other Harvey Norman laptop deals.

Yes, it has only 8GB of ram. Yes, it's soldered. No, it's not upgradable. There is no need to point this out, it's a downside.

On the upside of things, I believe this is the first time an OLED Laptop has cost less than $1000, and it's a good $102 less at $898. Also high-res at 2880 x 1800 and 90Hz for smooth response time.
What's the best use-case for an OLED panel? Content consumption, especially watching movies and TV shows. Do you need 16GB of ram for watching movies? No.

If you're in the market for a casual-use laptop, this is a good choice. Much better value for money than low-end Apple rubbish.

  Here is the upgraded model for $200 more
  these laptops use Samsung OLED panels, and look FAR better than any HP OLED laptop.

  I read the reviews and the laptop is prone to heat up quickly and the fans running a lot. Also the battery life is pretty poor and when you run the wifi on the 5ghz band it is even worse. It seems from the reviews the laptop is ok when you run it as a desktop connected to the mains and do light work like emails , word etc but not good for games or graphical intensive work.
