I'm looking into the best option for connecting android auto to the Tesla.
I've seen the hardware options carlinkit T2C, and Tesla android using the pi4. Anyone experience any of these?
I've also found the app formerly known as teslaa(now Tessa). I wanted to try this but doesn't seem available on play store. Have seen some good review and comments about this app.
Anyone else using a work around for Android auto on the Tesla?

Nothing really. Not sure why the OP just doesn't mount their phone next to the screen like everyone else!
More option of apps. I've got YouTube music and couple of other apps I want to use.
play YTM via bluetooth, controls work to skip songs etc.
Not too sure about andoird but I just use one of those sites like allow you to do full screen. I could access google drive, view photos, open pdfs etc…. on my car.
I've managed to change regions to install tesaa. I'll report back here if anyone is interested.
I'll try this before buying hardware like T2C and pi4.

I don't think this one would work for us in AUS, as I think it needs access to the browser and I believe it's disabled when we drive, (can someone with a Tesla let me know if the browser works when in drive?) Link: https://pimpmyev.com/en-au/products/apple-carplay-android-au…
