Just thought I put it out here that if anyone is considering going to Japan and then come back from Korea around end of Jan/mid March, Qantas has sales costing around $1.1k return..considering it’s multi city, not bad.

Busan is completely overlooked in winter. If you like the cold but hate skiing, it's super cheap accommodation
