      I mean to say these sets has no trademark / loyalty to pay, so they should be cheaper. Consider the falcon is under 1k, these ones should be considerably cheaper.

  If you search aliexpress you can find the knockoff version for cheaper. However, its only good as a display unit and not if you intend on playing with it after you build it, because it’s not as rigid as the lego version.
