This camping light was previously popular and now even cheaper if you choose the colour green. This one was designed with camping in mind and for mounting there's a few options. This includes the magnetic base, ring holder the hanging or propping it up and the tripod screw hole.

It has up to 500lm, 3 colour temperatures (5700K/4500K/3000K) if you prefer cool/warm with each having low/medium/high modes, 5200mAh battery that can act as power bank with bidirectional USB-C and IP64 water resistance.

Possible use cases are hanging inside a tent, inside a ute canopy tent, lighting up cupboards, use in dimly lit rooms, as a night light and more. There's detailed feedback in the previous deal here from someone who owns it.

  • Wondering how to mount it on a telescopic pole to act as a campsite light, like this https://www.oztrail.com.au/lumos-stadium-light

cable ties and/or duct tape? :)

It has a pull out ring on the back you could use a carabiner.
Also has a magnet on the back (fairly strong too)

Use a camera tripod, it takes the same size screw fitting

I bought this light a few weeks ago when it was on sale, best camping light I've ever bought,
the magnet is super strong, so with a little metal plate you can attach it to your tent or anywhere else you want it to sit. It lasted our whole camping trip for 4 nights on max all evening, then set to minimum as a night light from midnight to morning. The hanging ring is also quite tight so you can use it to adjust the angle of the light which I find useful. It has a USB-C port which I find useful and you can use a USB-C to USB-C cable to charge it, some devices require a USB-A to USB-C cable. It doesn't have fast charging, but I think it took about 3 hours to charge which is not too bad. The green colour is really nice and the quality and feel of the light feels premium. I bought this case of AliExpress 10x10x4cm for $4.40 including shipping that fits the Wuben F5 perfectly, the zip feels cheap, but it's a solid case that offers good protection. I highly recommend this light and it would make a great Christmas present for a camping, fishing, bushwalking enthusiast.

Thanks! I got those same plates stuck to the inside of the ute canopy so just got the case and I'm sorted!

Excellent, as stated the case zip feels quite cheap but a rubber band will work when the zip gives up, but for $4.40 inc delivery you can't expect too much,
other than the zip the case is quite sturdy and the Wuben light should be well protected on the inside.

    • Are there any cons to the light besides no fast charging?

      • +1

For me, no, but I've seen other users state that it doesn't have a lockout button, as in you put it in your bag,
the light is accidentally pressed on and you waste your batteries, but I have not had any issues with the light accidentally going on.
But I have experience that issue with other lights and it is annoying if it's packed tightly with other stuff then the light can get quite hot.
So no, I have no issues with the light, oh I wish you couldn't see the individual LED lights, I think it looks more premium when you see the light and see one glowing light not lots of little squares, but that's just nit picking. I really like that it puts out warm white, it's not really warm 3000K but it looks a lot nicer than cool white.
BTW I noticed that this post states that the deal is over but it's still going, $35.19 for the green model, I paid $39.60 and was really happy with the value.
I remember turning off my light in my spare room and hanging this Wuben light from the main light shade in the centre of the room (4m X 4m) and it lit up the room beautifully, I would be able to read a book sitting at the side of the room and it spread the light out evenly across the room. It would work perfectly hanging from a medium size gazebo while camping, If you had the Wuben light in the centre and had your cooking stuff underneath, you would have no issues preparing a meal.
It's not super bright but it is bright enough. Also there is an informative video from an Amazon customer in the review section that's worth watching
