Hi. I just picked up a pixel 8 pro. Looking for a case/ wallet that can carry credit cards etc.
But need the cards not to contact the screen as current phone has scratches on glass from cards rubbing on the screen when closed.

So any screen protector will stop the cards scratching? Or does it have to be a top notch protector
Cheers.The card would scratch the screen protector and not your phone screen (unless you're smashing the cards into the screen).
Certainly a risk, but that has not been my experience.
I have used "Kalibri" leather wallet case without a screen protector on my last two phones without causing any scratching.
They are actual leather though (and I keep them well treated with leather protector), so the inside of the case that touches the screen is quite soft.
I've got a Spigen Slim Armor on pixel 7 that holds 2 cards. I keep my car and marine license in there because Victoria sucks balls with digital licenses.
It's pretty chunky but it protects the whole phone and camera lenses nicely.
Got the same for my pixel 7, perfect for me to carry my licence and a debit card around. Yeah it adds a little bulk but has saved my phone from a few drops and is much easier than carrying my wallet around
Or get magsafe magnet and the wallet accessory to stick to the back

everything is going digital these days - eg. 4 states currently have digital driver's license options.
sadly - WA still isn't there yet :( :( :(CC's … well there's been a digital option for some years.
LASTLY … for other licenses - eg. worksafe / marine / fishing … some states/government depts - do allow you to take a photo of said license, and use the digital photo as proof (I've done so afew times with my worksafe license when asked on jobsite) … May vary between states.

Even I when going to make s big purchase etc, etc. Still take my wallett, even though i have everything electronic.

Who is this for exactly? Or do you always refer to yourself in the third person? Furthermore, your phone wallet case won't even hold ten cards.
Wont hold 10 cards. You don't have. Wife i assume.
20 cards, plus a few hundred in 50's and bits of paper etc.
Your 'wife' needs a proper wallet, which is 'old school'
All 'wallet' design case will eventually scratch the screen without a screen protector.
