Hi Team, want to share my Robot cleaner Battery only lasted 13 month!!!! very disappointed one very recommend Robot cleaner from the OZBargain :(

Purchase date

25-10-2021

Battery Failed right after one year

Battery warranty 12 month :(

will cost you around $150 for a new one.

Hope this helps when you chose your next robot cleaner which brand to avoid

    Pretty shit tbh but I am willing to accept battery warranty can only be so long. Just gave up and bought a replacement battery.

    You can get it cheaper on sick smith or Ali

    I think you would have a case with the consumer watchdog.

      There were some members that did lodge complaints with Victorian Consumer Affairs and ACCC - but as far as I know nothing happened.
      I guess if enough complaints get lodged something might happen…

        Yes, did the same thing with Fair work trading NSW, can't help battery warranty issues :(

        True, point of this post is to let people know what they can expect after one year using the device.

        I wound't buy another Panmi, I bought a replacement battery from China for $50

    I know time has been a bit weird to keep track of the past few years, but your battery is 25 months old, not 13.

    Our battery for the same vacuum has died too - not sure when because I bought it for my mum but it hasn't been working for some months - it was bought in Feb 2022 so battery lasted less than 2 years.

    Our original Xiaomi Robot Vac's battery only died last year and it was bought in 2016! I got a more powerful battery for it online on Ali and will probably do the same for the Viomi.
