Maybe if it was LG G3 or Sony A95K for a smaller space but want the best
If you think this is a GREAT deal, please hand in your Ozbargain posting rights.
Agreed this is a horrible price not sure why this neg was negged haha
If you cant get a 65" OLED for $2500 you arent ozbargaining hard enough. Hell I got a 75" x95k for $2600.
65in for $2499 barely qualifies as a deal, let alone a 55in at this price.
Depends on the quality of the 65". An LG b series definitely not, a C series maybe, a G series absolutely!!!!
@Savvy shopper1111: Would you prefer an OLED 65in C series or a 55in G series at the same price?
@Magik: Depends on space, generally a C series will be fine for most people and will appreciate that optimal size of 65" better than that slight boost to image quality in the G series. Some tv units only fit a 55", liyerally built one for client from Harvey Norman.
75" OLED for $2600? Which model was it? I'm looking to get the 75" OLED around 2500.
The X95K is not an OLED.
No a Sony x95k is not their oled range its MiniLED. It was down to around 2900 on Sony due to price matching then used 10% off for new members.
No 77" OLED is going to be under 3000, the clue it wasnt oled was the 75" as only LED models come in that size.
Yeah this is average, OP
I won't neg the deal because the TV is $3295 at other retailers however, keep in mind that the 55" S95B got as low as $1420 so it's nothing spectacular.
The 65" s95b got below $1500, this is horrible. Dont base whether this is a good deal based on current hyper inflated prices. The TV is not in its discount cycle right this moment. Dont waste your money, Black Friday deals arent even happening yet
Same here, was $1440. Same panel as this TV.
$1440 for a 65in OLED would be bargain of the year :D

Burried in here
@iMagoo: These prices sets a new bar for OLED bargain. If black friday gets anywhere near these prices, I'd be over the moon.
Still sad I didn't pull the trigger on the $1400 s95b. Unlikely this deal is coming back around as I imagine their stock must be near zero
You're right, but Samsung EDU isn't available to everyone.
Westpac access should be OzB universal now with all the Shopback deals
They have a gov portal as well. Generally way more discounting of Samsung products than Sony or to a lesser extent Sony.
If you have your heart set on Samsung (even though no Dolby Vision support, big issue going forward) then wait for better deals please.
@Savvy shopper1111: How does it work exactly? Are the same products/prices available on EDU/GOV/EPP or are they different?
Wonder what a good price would be for the 55" S95C?
Definitely under 2000 ideally 1500 or less, ultimately depends on how patient you are. Use last years price histories of s95b to work out when you could get a good deal this year. Then subscribe to price updates on here.
Personally I got my tv not from an ozbargain update surprisingly, I had to post it for others. I just happened to see the deal when doing regular manual checks on google
@Savvy shopper1111: Cheers, looks like Google shopping pointing lowest retailer to 3.5K from a RRP of 4K. It'll be a whammy if it drops below 2K, wouldn't hesitate to jump in…
@88mph: Nobody pays any attention to RRP. If you want to we can't stop you but anyone paying 2500 for a 55" s90 should hesitate and hold off unless they are impatient/don't care about money
@Savvy shopper1111: I think you've jumped the gun there savvy… chill, have a KitKat. I've never paid RRP in me life, except at the doc's office.
It was merely an observation that presently there are no sales on the S95C, unlike the S90C.
Not a bad price, Even though i wouldn't buy one, Samsung Gov store have them for $2,870.13
People the 65" s90c was on sale a few months back for $2547 at JBHIFI with a soundbar included…
This 55" price IS NOT A DEAL. Period.
Good point, I up-voted that deal as well!
I am going to neg this deal now that you brought it to my attention.
So the Samsung Portals aren't always the cheapest. That's good to know, thanks for sharing.
I cant believe people pay $2500 for a 55inch tv in 2023
