Upgrade RAM of MacBook Air

Hi, recently I bought a mac book air 13" 4gb RAM. It is the latest model. The Apple reseller said I could not pay $1xx for the optional upgrade to 8gb ram because it was only possible if I purchased it from the Apple Store. Nonetheless, I bought the Macbook air from the reseller as I had vouchers specific to that reseller. Is it still possible to take it to the Apple Store and upgrade the RAM? Thanks.

    Unfortunately the RAM on a MacBook Air is not upgradable since the RAM is soldered onto the motherboard.
