Allows you to charge and display over usb-c using only one port.

I will be using it with my Asus Rog Ally to cast it to my screen over usb-c (DP Alt mode) while also charging at 65w. But ofcourse you can use this for anything else eg DeX mode on your Samsung and similarly casting the iPad to the TV…

  DeX mode on your Samsung

  It's a shame that Linux on Dex was discontinued though. (Google policies around running arbitrary binaries from user data, and general reluctance from Samsung to continue)

  Although I wonder about it even connecting on some phones given the size of that connector and bulky cases.

    Yeah, true!! Might not fit all devices.. And yeah, shame about Linux on DeX :/

    I looked for quite some time to find a simple usb c splitter that does both power and video pass through. So many adapters/docks just don't seem to do this…
