[NSW, PS4] Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut $44 in-Store Only @ JB Hi-Fi, Castle Hill

90

Found this with a yellow sticker with "Special Price $44.00" on the rack in store.
Note this only applies to the PS4 version, not the PS5.
Note also that this was at the Castle Hill JBHiFi (NOT Castle Towers) and I don't know if other stores have this discount or not. This discount is not available online.

I was prepared to show some cheaper prices at other online stores for price matching, but did not need to when this price was already on the display case.

Even though it still [rang up as $89 at the register, there was no double-checking or queries from the staff, they just over-rode the price and charged the $44 based on the yellow sticker.

I've found EB Games preowned is in pretty decent condition, so if you don't mind "preowned": https://www.ebgames.com.au/product/ps4/236537-ghost-of-tsush…

Or even the Director's Cut: https://www.ebgames.com.au/product/ps4/277672-ghost-of-tsush…

The one in the deal is the directors cut.
      Brand new for $44

      • Ohh that wasn't in the title when I posted. Thanks for clarifying.

  • Does this free ps5 upgrade?

$30 upgrade from base PS4 version to PS5 (which is the directors cut)
$10 upgrade from Directors Cut PS4 to PS5

Probably should update the title to include "Directors Cut" as there is 2 versions and this one includes DLC and is more expensive than the standard edition.

  • Many copies left?
Or it just one of a kind due to error?

    • They have a display case of the game on the shelf (with the yellow special price sticker and no DVD inside).

You take that to the register and they give you a new one (with a DVD) from out the back before returning the display case back to the shelf.

I don't know how many more they have out the back, but the staff gave no indication that this was an error or that they were considering removing the yellow pricing sticker - it was simply accepted that was the correct price for that particular game.
