Toshiba Portege X20W-D Battery

Hi All,

Needed a chep laptop so found a Toshiba Portege X20W-D in good condition for $90 on facebook. Only issue is battery needs replacing. Being a avid Ozbargain member, wheres the best (ie cheap) place to source this from?

    If it were me, I'd order this.
    Genuine part according to the listing & appears to be one of the better prices out there.

    Found one on Aliexpress for about AU$58, seems to be the cheapest option. Hopefully i dont get burnt for being a cheapskate!

    Seems fine to me so far. Could try a battery test if u have any suggestions.

      I got the one on ebay linked above, battery works but is not detected by my computer and needs to be plugged in first to turn on (but runs on battery when the charger is removed). Did you have any issues?

    Strange, no I dont have that issue with my one.

    Problem solved. Ran the battery down till the computer automatically shut down, then charged it back up and now everything is back to normal
