My local coles has a recall sign for milk chocolate. Reason = undeclared allergen - dairy. We live in clown world.
You’re not going to believe this, but oat milk contains no milk. It would not surprise me one bit to see milk chocolate that contains neither milk nor cocoa
@tharlow: Funnily enough, Whittakers Oat Milk block, which I'm assuming is marketed towards vegans, is labelled with "May contain milk". Wouldn't this be enough to deter their primary market? I could be wrong.

ice cream with eggs (or at least yolks) is technically frozen custard, although we have come to associate that and ice cream both as the same thing.
That's what Americans call it. Europeans make ice cream with eggs, which is generally (but as highlighted above, not always) what we tend to do.
@The General: When I say custard I more mean the base for the ice cream, or the creme anglaise. I'm no expert on American ice cream but i assume its watered down or icy due to to much sugar content. (yes that is a generalisation which is probably incorrect lol)
Gelato just has a slightly difference process… Slower churning and less cream i believe - maybe a gelato expert can confirm or deny this.

Those ice creams are super yummy. Arguably better than the Connoisseur range. At $1 a box I could easily become a type 2 diabetic. Probably just as well my local doesn’t have them at this price.

Coles Lachlan's Square (or whatever the fk the new Macquarie Park store is called) were shelling the Vanilla Bean at 50c maybe 4 weeks ago, not enough stock to post though. Only store I've seen with these marked down before or since, mightn't be that widespread.
