That is indeed pretty great. I believe there’s some legal reason why NASA cannot charge Americans for access to their content.

It’s also not copyrighted, so tons of people take their content and stream them on their own channels to make easy ad revenue. This might be one way to combat that a bit.

    That makes logical sense I suppose. Though there’s lots of taxpayer funded things that aren’t free e.g. Sydney Metro.

  I've pilfered more than a few things from the American government for websites and other projects. Some of their designs from the 60s and 70s are wild.
