Called them, asked them if what price they could do if i bought two.
The d6000 looks great, i was basically sold on them, but they recommended the d4000 for me as my room was too small to really use their capacity. 4x4m.

        • Looks like there is only one dealer in Oz for Tonewinner (starting with S and currently listing them as pre-order for delivery at end of month).

Presume that's where you ordered from.

  • Can you do a deal on the sb-1000 (non pro) the current price is pretty much the standard one and has been like that for months

    • +2

If you reach out on our website chat we will see what we can do, not a lot left in it at it's current price though as it's already a clearance model.

  • I currently have an x3800h paired with an SVS sb-1000 pro. I'm looking for a second sub. Would pairing the sb with a pb be bad or good? Would a second sb-1000 be better? 100% movies/tv. Thanks

It is possible to pair a ported and a sealed subwoofer together, it does make the placement and calibration a little more difficult. But the benefits of adding a PB1000 Pro to your system make it worthwhile.

      • Thanks, would the xt32 and built in subeq be good enough to set them up together?

        • I'm going to disagree with the store rep here, somewhat.

I have never seen it recommended to mismatch a ported and a sealed sub. I agree that it is possible, but not recommended.

It takes a lot more work to integrate them together, and no, the inbuilt xt32 and subeq probably won't be enough. You'd probably end up needing a miniDSP 2x4 hd (or similar), a umik-1, and familiarise yourself with REW.

Here's a video I cherry picked to support my claims https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbAO4-F5Ejo

          • @Morien: agree $450 minidsp 2x4 hd plus $250 umik-1 plus free REW. not worth it, just buy the same sub you already have.

how in hell do i stop "associated" being posted next to my name?

            • @hopefullguy: When you comment it a dropdown below the text field "I am associated with" Select "Not associated"

And yeah, while it isn't quite as expensive as you say, the minidsp and umik are not exactly a zero cost solution.

Just pony up for a matching sub.

  • where is the 40% off on teh polk R700 floorstands

    • There hasn't been any stock in about 4 months and will be heavily back ordered when they come back into stock

  • @Customht - Are you closer to knowing whether you're stocking the KEF speaker range for this BF?

    • We won't be doing any KEF deals for black friday
