TV Recommendations 50inch, $800 Ideal Budget, $1000 Max Budget

Hello,

Looking for some tv recommendations for a new TV

Ideal fit:

-50 to 55 inch
-Stand (not wall mounted)
-Around $800 is the aim, max $1000 budget
-Smart TV with apps like netflix or web browser on it would be nice, not necessary though as I will have PS5 on it

Use cases:
Occassional TV shows/watching movies
Going to buy a PS5 to play games on it. I’m not a big graphics guy so I won’t be super upset if the PS5 is not getting it’s maximum output, but I still want it to look nice, probably 4K? Idk much about graphics though

Hi OP, are you able to wait until Black Friday which is at the end of this month? I'm sure there will be TV bargains available which will suit your budget

    I reckon you should wait coz you could get a nice gaming TV for a cheaper price, since you'll be mostly playing your PS5. As for brands I'm biased and I would recommend a Sony like @seemos recommended below, that's a good model - https://store.sony.com.au/television-4K-X8500/KD55X85K.html

Just bought a Sony 55 inch 85k for $999 a couple months ago from Amazon
Been really impressed with it so far
