This was an absolute snore fest. Literally. I was trying to have a sleep in the movie theatre when watching this. If my son wasn't there, I probably would have walked out.

It was already delayed (apparently studio is a toxic AF workplace) before but the current strike going on in Hollywood will likely push this out to end of 2024/2025.
I loved the first one, but I was pretty underwhelmed as I watched this. I didn’t know beforehand that it was a “part 1”, which made it even worse at the end.

Obviously very highly rated, but am I missing something unlike other Spiderman entries this is a cartoon?
They will wheel out the trans spiderman next. Just going through the list. It may be a great film, but the politics is cringe.
