still have the ps2 version left unplayed.
I am already a Monster Hunter fan, and I played a lot of Monster Hunter Worlds before these, but let me highly recommend Rise and Sunbreak; at least up until the end game grind in Sunbreak. The games were really made for the switch, so the maps aren't as detailed as Worlds and Iceborne, but they are still large and fun to zip around in.
How about generations?
If you are new to monster hunter and doesn't have friend to play with, better not to pick MHGU. It is an old game that are not easy to play, and even when it was new, rare to see people in lower rank lobby.
In contrary for MH rise, you could almost play everything on your own.
As someone who only got into MH this year - MHGU is fantastic, but I doubt I would have been able to get into it without playing MHRise first.
I had tried a few Monster Hunter games casually before Rise but never really got the appeal but something about Rise just clicked with my brain finally and I ended up putting loads of hours into the game and had a blast. Never got the Sunbreak expansion though.
400h on rise/sunbreak :) it's been fun. At this price, it's a steal.
I'm now starting on world/iceborne to see what all the fuss is about.
just want to notice to you guys, steam also has rise+sunbreak bundle at 44.95, which is 5 dollars higher, but you could easily running at 4k/60 fps, or even higher, it's an action game, 60fps makes huge difference
Enjoying monster hunter now on my phone, hyped at rumor that world 2 may be coming within 12 months.
Really gotta finish 2FU on Vita, bought the PSP game for 10USD like 7 years ago.
When did Monster Hunter Generations come out on Switch?
I must have missed it.
Could never get into these games
