Looks like a few good deals in there.
E7200 2gb ram 320gb HDD for $509
They are usually around $1000 with a 20" LCD.

Same. Dell should just retire that brand.
I never knew about the Dell Outlet. Anyway, 10/100 Ethernet is a big negative in most of that line up. Only the Quad-core has Gigabit ethernet.
Why do you need Gigabit ethernet? Do you implement it in your network? Is ur PC able to receive that amount of data? IF not then 10/100 is enough for you (and in the near future)… But well you can upgrade it anytime, easily.
Yes I implement it in my network. It's primitive bloody hardware. And no I don't want to upgrade, it should be stock standard on-board like every other bloody manufacturer. That was my point. It is nearly 2009 my friend.
Look carefully at the specs - the Dell gremlins are still at work - although its not on the price
eg - software supplied - verbatim quote…..
Genuine Windows Vista(R) Business 32 bit SP1 (English) DVD Media Included?
Preloaded Genuine Windows(R) XP Professional 32 bit (English) OEM Version?
You know they are the ones selling this and providing the specs - and they dont know if these things are included!!!!
hope is not a MISTAKE once you paid.
You also realise these don't come with monitors right??
"Systems are not sold with monitors (Monitors Sold Separately)"
So add on another $200 for one if you're going to compare the outlet prices with Dell System prices.
Really really want to post a negative on this cause Dell have wound me up the wrong way.. it's looking like I've been charged a $5 fee for my Dell refund!! If it's the case, I'll be taking it up with them.
So you got charged when they refund your money? did they inform you first?
No mention of it and it looks like it might be a processing fee for a Swift transfer perhaps??
Comes up as "SWIFT PMT FEE"
Either way, I'm not happy..
Yeah they don't come with monitors which is why i said the sell for around $1000 with a 20" lcd.
Looks like all the good ones have gone already. If you took off $250 for an LCD they were still $2-300 below the usual price.
looks not bad, thinking of one.
but should i wait till xmas?
the one i wanted has been sold…
I thought this was a joke in bad taste…
Yeah, depending on the item, you gotta be bloody quick. When I got my laptop from the Dell Outlet several years ago, I called at 6am and there were no sales people on at that time so left a message for them to call me back regarding that item (specified the code). When I got the call back they mentioned that as soon as the phones were switched on to the sales centre, people were asking for that item, but because my enquiry was first, I got it.
Better luck next time.
I wouldn't bother, Dell will only pull the deal anyway and then offer it back to you on the phone for twice the price !!!!!
Real or not real offer?
The offer is/was real but you gotta realise that these are generally just one off items as they are customised orders that were cancelled.
It pains me to see another Vostro post, legit or not. I thought someone was joking about associating it with a bad taste, but it's so damn true.
