Centre pedestal preferred otherwise I'll need to have it mounted. I know the centre pedestal is easier to find on old TVs however a new TV is also preferred. Budget is $500.
I've seen the Falcon Jb Hi-Hi offerings for $200.
Any suggestions?

stock from 2 years ago?
That's not a bad looking TV for $229 and it is a Philips… (not a licensed Toshiba, Blaupunkt, etc)
Hisense with a sml Logitech PC speaker setup (with the sml sub + 2 sat spkrs, parked near set)
Done.
Falcon jbhifi offerings for $200.
Quality (hand shake emoji) FFalcon
Falcon is made/owned by TCL Australia. It is consider the no-frills version of TCL and reliability should be adequate. (Do note FFalcon has 12 months warranty officially due to its cheaper price point vs 36 months for TCL.)
Why does it need to be new? I'd be looking for a 1080p Sony. There is no way you can tell the difference between 4k and 1080p on a 32" screen viewing web streams unless its directly in front of your face.
You're right. I'll look into marketplace. I'm not too fussed on the resolution.
You can buy a universal pedestal mount from Amazon for around $50
You might find budget TVs worth buying are a bit bigger than that. Closer to 50 inch is the new 32 inch.
Aldi had a Philips 32" android TV on their Oct 21 special buys - may still be some in store.
