I recently moved to iPhone and I have not yet found an app that I like as much as the basic women’s heath part of the Samsung Health app. but i’ll give your friend’s one a go :)

    Bloody good deal

How does this compare to the included one in iOS called Cycle Tracking?

    • Apple's Health app includes basic period tracking, our app offers more comprehensive, customizable, and detailed experience, including ovulation, pregnancy, symptom tracking, meditation and much more.
You can give it a try and see for yourself :)

Apple has a default Period tracker in Health App which is synced with Apple watch and approximates pretty accurately for the missus(+/- 2days) .. Don't see the reason for downloading one more app for the sake feature..

Siri wants to know everything about you.

Siri: next time they shine a light in the sky, dont go to it, the bat is dead, burried. Consider this mercy.
Batwoman: Siri .. do you bleed

      • Do you have a brain ?

some of these comments are offensive af…kind of 'jokes' you'd here among barflys at a divey sportsman's pub…aren't there any women on ozbargain to check this behaviour?

    • +2

      This is a woke-free zone.

      • I agree. Funny how if it's the other way around, it's ok to bash men isn't it.

      • -1

pretty sure the 'woke' era came long after womens liberation mate…these kind of attitudes are archaic

        • -1

We certainly don't need cancel-culture in Ozbargain.

          • -2

@Varoufakis: 'woke' 'cancel culture' …. you arent really nailing these concepts with this particular application champ…did you just learn them in school, waiting to use them in a real world sentence?

            • @QuickToThePointless: No champ, just trying to preserve freedom of expression. Don't appreciate your attempts to shut it down.

              • @Varoufakis: if you are indeed the self proclaimed champ for preservation of freedom of expression on Ozbargain we are in a lot of trouble!

    • Can you provide an example?

      • +2

Apparently humour should be off-limits in Ozbargain.

    • there’s literally no point :) pretty sure most are just copy pasted each time there is a pad deal tho! no originality :)

    • … or men could call it out. I don't think that hoping that they can listen to and empathise with women is a realistic expectation, unfortunately.

  • When I open it, it’s in another language and doesn’t give me an option to change.

    • The app is currently available in English, German, Spanish, and French. It automatically selects the language based on your device.
A new version is in the making to let you pick a language manually

I'm transitioning so I'm definitely going to need one.

  • Missus has been using an app called Flo for many years which is pretty accurate. The free version does the job and doesn't require subscription. The app has a partner version as well which syncs and keeps me informed

  • Downloaded, thank you. Can confirm shows premium membership for lifetime. Looks neat, will give it a go.

    • Let me know your thoughts!

  • When I downloaded it the app was in German.

On the AppStore the languages listed are only French, German and Spanish

I think they might just be trying to up their downloads for the App Store leaderboard

    • Hey the app is translated to german, spanish and french besides english.
The language that the app will choose to use is based on your device.

A new version that will let you change the language yourself is in the making :)

      • So an iPhone bought and registered with an Apple ID from Australia = German gotcha

        • You can go to your iPhone's settings -> choose the period tracker app from the app list -> go to language -> change it to english

  • Why is it in German… My German is pretty bad, but my gf's is non existent..

    • +1

Sign from the universe … German GF incoming

    • You can go to your iPhone's settings -> choose the period tracker app from the app list -> go to language -> change it to english
