All-Inclusive Resorts in Bali

Hi folks, we are headed on the well-worn track to Bali for a holiday in Dec. We just want to chill out in a resort, eat well, get massages and not get food poisoning. Its just my partner and I, not big drinkers.

Any suggestions of all inclusive hotels besides Club Med? Appreciate your input.

You don’t want all inclusive, you want half board or full board.

Haven't been myself yet, but have been told Nusa Dua is a bit more exclusive than the busy areas of Seminyak & Canggu/Ubud. It's also meant to be coming up to rainy season in Nov/Dec so worth considering.

Depending on your budget, maybe consider Grand Hyatt Bali there right on the beach. Looks like a nice beach walk to Peninsula Island.

Luxuryescapes.com has inclusive bundles but they really do get you on the prices. Always cross-check price booking direct with hotels.

    Mulia in Nusa Dua.

It ruined Bali for us because the resort was so good we never wanted to leave.

For clarification there's three sections to it - Mulia Resort, The Mulia and Mulia Villas.

The resort section is the more affordable lesser fancy option (while still being stupidly fancy), the Mulia is the more upper option with bigger rooms, better views, and some exclusive access to specific areas. And the Villa's are more private Villa's they have on site.

Luxury Escapes can sometimes have a killer deal for these as it is QUITE expensive normally but we went post COVID and got a crazy good deal (compared to the prices when I looked last time out of curiosity).

We did the Mulia and the Villas, and I recommend either, but the Mulia with the room we had overlooking the main pool and beach was just insane. They have like 5 restaurants there that you can get inclusive meals / if you order directly from their webpage you can get full gourment every meal taken care of. Their "Cafe" basic restaurant is some insane 100 options buffet thing where every day they have new cuisines and different stations with people manning them.

We've recently visited Bali and stayed in Ayana Resort in Jimbaran. Completely blew us away and went far beyond our expectations when we got there. It's completely insulated from the rest of Bali and is a world of its own. There's about 19 different restaurants and bars, numerous pools, spa with tons of options, shops, on-site club, private beach, the list goes on. Amazing food wherever you go on the resort. Every detail about the resort is carefully planned and immaculately maintained and the staff are very hospitable.

The resort is set on a massive piece of land and sectioned off into a couple of different areas. There's a regular shuttle service that takes you from one area to the next.

If you wanted to, you could spend your entire holiday there and not have to set foot outside of the resort. It's really hard to describe how large it really is, we spent a few days there and didn't get a chance to explore everything that's on offer. Was really really hard leaving back for Australia lmao, still think about it from time to time.

Might sound like im advertising for them but I was just genuinely blown away, would highly recommend looking into them. Their website is a bit deceptive and doesn't reflect the scale of the resort.

They are on the pricier side, with the cheapest rooms starting at $500 a night when we visited but worthwhile investment imo.

  • What's your budget?

  • Keep an eye out on Luxury Escapes. Not really many all inclusive resorts in Bali & the few that do don't look great when compared the the traditional all inclusive you would find in Turkey / European resorts. We booked Movenpick for June 24, all meals + bucket beers & cocktails daily for around $2000 for 7 nights which thought was good. Luxury Escapes can stack with upsize Shopback & Citibank 10% off or Woolworths 20x points on giftcards to bring price down.

    • Shopback rejected my claim because I'd part-paid with a giftcard. Gits.

  • Would highly recommend Sofitel in Nusa Dua!

But we did a couple of days in Ubud first and then Nusa Dua.
