      NFC Yes (market/region dependent)

For anyone wondering, Australia is a market/region where the answer is No.

      • AU is clubbed along with rest of the world (i.e. not with EU, USA).

  • $30 SIM plan is the cheapest plan for this offer?

    • -1

      Why?

It says you can keep your existing SIM plan.

      • See the comment from @TheDukeOfNukem below. I have the same plan, but dont want to pay $120 to renew it.

    Am an existing customer.

Paid 60 for the year of calls / texts and 60gb earlier in the year. Normal price 120.

When I try to buy it, it wanted 270 (including 120 renewal) … If you're an existing customer, unless you're on something mega dirt cheap you're better off signing up a new account.

    • So the cost depends on your current amaysim pan for existing customers?

    • i am in the same. how do you sign up a new account? same names?

      • Should be right to. I have two services with them, same name, same email, etc.

  • OP, you may need to add in the description that you must renew your current plan to go with this offer.

  • Good luck cancelling a current service if you need to for this offer.
They refused to do so for me, saying they don't have a cancellation option and instead my service will expire sometime.
Even when the TIO got involved they carried the same story then said they needed to get approval from some weird internal department then when they got that they finally cancelled it two weeks later again. All up it was about 8 weeks to cancel it.

    • In your case 2oukdnt it have been easier to use a $2 Sim and port out?

      • I thought about it, but the thing is it was a throwaway SIM to enter competitions etc so I didn't actually want the number.

        • That's interesting, I was about to close a number with amaysim but didn't have an active plan or anything. Just spoke to chat and said I want to disconnect the number and they did it straight away.

This thing is the slowest shittiest phone I have ever seen. Not worth it at $150, not even worth it at $50. I regret buying mine even though literally all I do is sync work email to it.
