I've got an older version of this fan. It's ok, but this clamp type is much better IMO. Easier to get in a good position to be effective

    • How long does it run for?

      • never timed it sorry, but it's long enough for me. Easily overnight on low/.med power I reckon, and way longer than the Coleman I've got

        • Overnight was all I was wondering. Might pick up one for this summer. Tnx

          • @DamagedDingo: no worries. The one I linked looks identical to what I've got but is a different brand.

the kickass one mentioned by Togsy below might be a safer bet. pretty much the same thing but with a light.

I use this one, it's also 10,000mah, has a led light surround with 3 brightness, USB-C, fan has 4 speed setting low, med, high, randomised. I've had mine for a year and use it all the time. Camping, in the car, office, small enough to put in a backpack. Last approx 6-8hrs on high, 40hrs on low. The clamp is extremely strong and the fan can rotated 360 and flip upside down. Also has a hook in the bottom. Pretty sure I paid $25 in last year's BF sales but it's $39 currently.

    • Is the charging cord USB-C?

      • No, standard micro USB, not an issue as it comes with it

        • micro USB is always an issue in the days of USB-C. Worst connector ever and any time I see a new product using it I wonder what else they've cheaped out on.

  • I struggle to see why anyone would buy Coleman’s / Primus etc stuff like this.
Just buy the battery power tool system you want and buy stuff around that.
It may or may not be better that day Coleman’s, but when the battery dies in the Coleman with your power tool set up (dust buster, drill, chainsaw, lights, etc) you just swap and go. And the one charger does the lot.
    IMO

  • If the 8 incher blowing on you is a bit much then the 6 incher is on sale also $54.95.
