How do you expect people to answer this question?

You gave a size, good start.. Location?, budget?, pickup/Dlv?, any features you want? Plasma, LCD?

sydney and no real budget but looking for something on the cheap/value orientated. Pickup in syd or delivery and LCD. No real features i want.

LG 42'' LM6410 3D LED TV is being for around $ 860-90 check jb hi fi / Good guys. Tv i s pretty good.

  I will second the LG recommendation.
  Every samsung set i had ended up in the bin.
  Our 42" LG lcd is still like the day we got it 4 years ago and it is on almost every day.
  
  Get LCD, not plasma. Better picture and more reliable.
