We have to patch back of the leather sofa which was damaged.
For now just covered it with the tape which we need to get rid of asap.

Has anyone here used or known any self-adhesive leather repair patch? Are they any good for such patches?
I see some options on amazon but wondering if any better alternatives elsewhere.

Has anyone tried a redyeing kit for their leather couches, mine are getting white showing through?
Would it be worth finding an old fashioned 'cobbler'? The type of person who repairs shoes? They might have a really good idea for this - and may be able to repair them properly.
In Brisbane, I have heard there is one at the Petrie Markets.
Others may have more ideas.
Just get some matching leather and use contact adhesive. Simple.
I once bought a leather repair kit at super cheap, it was tricky but worked out well.
