what $500 cap?
The only cap in place is maximum discount of $50 per use, so $500 shop. This applies equally to the Extra and the insurance (etc) discount. You also cannot use multiple discounts on the same shop.
You can link each of your offers to different rewards cards and that way there is no issue in getting 10% each time, you just rotate your cards. It does mean, obviously, that you have fewer points on each card but you still have the same total number of points
That would mean you'd lose out on the extra points from Everyday Extra though, unless you're subscribing on both cards…
i guess you weigh up the 10% discount against the value of the extra points. Or just dump extras.
The email they sent clearly implies it will be either online or in-store, not both. My read was that they have introduced a way to basically tick a box to apply it online the same as you can elect to use it instore.
Does this include people with woolworths insurance and mobile ?
Unfortunately, no. I've just checked with a Woolies customer rep and was advised that this was only for those on the Everyday Rewards Extra program.
Too late Woolworths. After your greedy stunt I’m now used to shopping at Aldi.
google 'aldi underpayment'. Or only moral outrage when it affects you?
FYI Just used it online and in store
With insurance or mobile or rewards extra ?
Extra
which one did you do first though
@Moneyinthebank: Online then in store.
@John Kimble: Oh I thought it was the other way around previously
@John Kimble: I just tried and it didnt work in store, is this shut down? 😒
I doubt it will, I imagine they've fixed the bug of it working in store and online.
A separate question, if you have multiple 10% offs from different things, extras, mobile, insurance etc does the $500/year cap increase? Or does it stay as $500. I know we get 3 discounts because we've used them multiple times a month.
