Just stumbled across these during my research and bought a set.

These headphones have had good reviews on the internet, some suggest they are better than BOSE, or Beats by Dr Dre. Do the research yourself, google, youtube etc…
JB Hifi have these for $249 (http://www.jbhifi.com.au/portable/mp3-players/head-phones/kl…). Cheapest I have found them online is around the $150 mark. Looks good value, and I needed a decent headphone set that also comes with the 3-button remote and mic compatible with iDevices.

my creative aurvana live is starting to make distorted screeching noises especially on VoIP when the other person has a really loud microphone.
can anyone comment on how well an upgrade this would be instead of purchasing another set of creative aurvana lives?

  • These are okay for a closed headphone, not amazing. If you have an iPhone and prefer over-ear headphone then they're a good pick because of the mic and remote (not compatible with Android). Sound isn't terrific though, I would say better than Beats, worse than Bose and worse than most Sennheisers (my HD238s blow them out of the water, although they're an open headphone). This is a really good price though. I paid $100 in the US after price matching with Amazon at Best Buy (normal price was $149).

      +1 for Sennheisers.

They are more expensive than some of the others, but mine have been going strong for years and havent missed a beat (pun intended).

  • This might be a tough one to compare, but I'm after a pair of headphones for my pc… mostly gaming but music is definitely important. I noticed the Logitech G930's for $100 http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/80619 and am very tempted… but obviously am tied to only using them on the computer with being USB and all. Would these klipsch pair be worth the portability, especially possibly comparing sound quality?

  • This is a pretty tempting price for these phones, though with another $20 investment you could no doubt pick up something better if you're after SQ. The Brainwavz HM5's at mp4nation at ~$100 have these beaten in SQ hands down for mine, and the HM3's are probably competitive too. Having said that, if you compare this to the shelf price of the Beats By Dre series, these are a very very sensible buy. But while I could speak volumes about Monster products….. this is hardly the place.

  • These are okay, I've tried them at harvey norman, the sound quality is not bad. But I found them a little tight because of the small ear cups.
I ended up getting the Senn 558

    • Try getting the Senn 558 for a bit under $100 fully shipped. It also doesn't come with inline remote and mic.
