      Have used the 3M one on my car's sideview mirror outer casing. Lasted for 4 years in Aussie sunshine and rain before I had to change it, had lost the original roll by then.

      i've used this tape to hold together PVC pipes in the garden and it goes brittle and fails after about a year. also tends to unstick
